Self Portrait

Here is a self portrait I took a few weeks back when I was on crutches. I set up the camera on a tripod, plugged in my remote, and shot on self timer. It took a few tries to get the focus right, but I finally got what I wanted. Luckily I am crutchless now, but I just like this photo and haven't posted it yet.

Kyle Warner at the Compound

I went out to the Compound today when the sun was going down with Kyle. We filmed a few lines and then the sun started going down, but it was filtering through the trees really cool, so I quickly threw my flash on the stand and only got time for a few runs before the sun went down too far and changed. Even though the sun was like this for a couple minutes, Kyle managed to get in a few runs and I am stoked at how they came out! Enjoy

The Compound

Lower Bidwell with Katie

The other day when my sister Katie came up to Chico to visit me, we decided to go to Lower Bidwell to shoot her senior portraits, since she is graduating from UCSB this June! I have been wanting to get into portraits more and more, so I was super excited to do this. Here is what came out of it!

Sea Otter Classic 2011

This past week I headed down to Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey with my riding friend Dan Troyan to attend the Sea Otter Classic of 2011. Anyone who has interest in the cycling world knows this event, as it is probably the biggest in California. It is 4 days long, and filled with thousands of racers, spectators, and biking companies. A ton of free stuff is given away, and everything is discounted. At night, camp sites surround the track and everyone chills around the fire, having good times. Since I am on crutches, I couldn't do much but get free stuff, hang out with old friends and take photos...which was more than ok with me! Here are some of my favorites, enjoy!
