Up in the Air

April 15-18 was the Sea Otter Classic, which is a 4 day long biking event at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey. I went down there with my friends, and my parents stayed with friends who live near the raceway. These friends of my parents are very wealthy, and own two planes and a helicopter. On one of the days, we got to go up in the helicopter, and the other one of his planes, which is a super cool 1949 beaver. It was one of the coolest things I have ever done and the water was unreal. I didn't know that the California coast had such tropical looking water. These pictures are some of my favorites, from the air and at sea otter. Enjoy!

Brandon Fairclough. This guy is pro and very fast.

Mitch Ropelato is only 18 and winning world cups. He beat everybody in the pump track, and instead of doing a victory run on his second try, he beat himself again by half a second!!

The next few are some shots from the helicopter and the plane. The water is just so beautiful.

The infamous Bixby Bridge in Big Sur

Thought I would end with a sunset shot from our campsite at Sea Otter.

Happy Holidays

Yesterday, me and a few friends welt over to Roy's Redwoods, in between Nicasio and Fairfax. It is actually where Star Wars was filmed, so we were all super stoked to go explore around. The trailhead is right next to the road, except there is no parking lot, just some turnouts. This place is so beautiful and full of giant old trees, some hollowed out from fires, and some just massive. You literally feel like you are in Star Wars when you are in this place, it is something else. Anyways, I took a bunch of pictures, so enjoy...

Our hike went from gorgeous redwoods to amazingly green trees

Another Trip to Cataract Falls...

But this time, the lighting was a lot better and we went higher up, so there are a few different pics. Parents woke me up on my spring break this morning, and we went to the falls because it had just rained and the trails have good drainage, haha. Anyways, did a four mile hike (which is mostly stairs too) with my cast, which got tiring at the end, but it was still so beautiful. The greens were amazing! Enjoy...

Cool patterns at the end of the falls, where they go into Alpine Lake

This was as far as we went, but this is the biggest fall. It at least 20ft tall

The Lava House

Today, me and Kai went to Tiburon to take some pictures of the bay. We didnt want to go to the lava house, because the police roll by a lot, but it was the only place on belvedere island that has a view, because all the houses block it. Anyways, we went there for a few minutes, snaped some shots, and then left. I wont get this 100% right, but legend has it that a very wealthy man traveled to Hawaii and took a ton of lava rocks from this one mountain. Hawaiian legend says that the mountain god (or something like that) will haunt you if you steal from it. So when he started building the house, a majority of the workers died in freak accidents, and construction was haulted. The house itself is barley built, but there are windy pathways, random staircases, lava rock tunnels, and lava rocks laid all about the landscape. Enjoy

This is a view from one of the lava rock hallway things

Corte Madera Skatepark Jam

Yesterday, a bunch of us went over to Corte Madera Skatepark to ride and take photos and just chill. A bunch of bikers and skaters came and coexisted. WHAT!! Yes, they coexisted what a concept. Anyways, Brazen and a few other companies sponsored it, so there was a bunch of free stuff thrown out into the crowd. Here are a few of my favorite pics from the comp, and a few pics of the crowd and stuff enjoy...

Kameron Basseri: the main man behind everything. Thanks brooo
