The Mission Murals

The other day, my parents and I went into the city, to look at some of the murals in the Mission district. I never knew how much art was there, and it blew us all away. There is everything from political murals to sick ass graffiti pieces; all legal! Click on the pictures to see them bigger, especially the panoramas. Enjoy!

Upper Bidwell DH

My friend Kyle Warner just got a new bike from Canfield Bros, so we decided to go out to Upper Bidwell to test it out and shoot some photos. Enjoy!

Kyle comin down fast

Evan Bissel on the log

This is such a sketchy line. You cannot tell how steep it is, but Evan just flowed it.

Kyle dropping into a techy rocky section

The take-off is just to the left of him. You are supposed to land in between the first two Kyles.

Dan hitting the 8 footer (you land down by the tree)

As we were riding back, we passed this puddle and kept going. I realized that it could be sick, so I yelled to them and we turned back to shoot it. Im pretty happy we did!

Chico Skatepark Sesh with Mike Ramos

The past couple assignments I have had in photography class have been basically compositional stuff, but our new assignment for the next couple weeks is called Time & Movement, which in other words is action shots! So today, when I got out of class, I hit up a few friends and headed over to the skatepark for some homework. Mike was absolutely killing it today, throwing down for me and boosting the hell out of everything. Enjoy!

Urban Snowboarding at Forest Ranch Elementary School

Today, I woke up on my friend Keith's couch, got picked up with him by his friend Stu, and headed into the mountains. 25 minutes up Highway 32 is a small town named Forest Ranch, where it snows in the winter time. It just so happens that the elementary school there is the most perfect place ever to hit some urban snowboarding. We came there for this huge 30 ft rail, but once we got there this feature off the slide in the playground was already built! While shooting it and looking around, I spotted a sick roof drop, so we headed over and built a quick landing. After seshing the roof, we headed over to the rail, which was the reason we came there. While building the run-in, the janitor for the school came over. We thought it was an instant bust, but she ended up being totally into it and down! She even hooked us up with two snow shovels to make the digging easier!! Only in Chico...Anyways, here are the photos, and there is an video coming soon! Enjoy...

Aptos Day Trip

On Saturday, Allen, Chris, Dan, and I woke up at the crack of dawn and drove 3 1/2 hours down to Santa Cruz. We started out at this one dirt jump spot to warm up, and then headed to the Aptos High step up, where we spent most of the time. We then went over to the infamous Post Office jumps, and ended at Scotts Valley step up. I don't have very many pictures, because I was riding and filming most of the time, but I will post an edit soon!

Allen getting flat and high on the step up!

Dan stylin at Post Office

It was getting dark and we were sore, so instead of hitting the step up in Scotts Valley, we decided to have some fun.

Lower Bidwell Park

I had to take some photos for photography, so I headed over to Lower Bidwell with my friend Aidan to take some photos. This place is truly beautiful and full of ancient trees of all kinds and awesome little paths going through them, as well as a nice little road to drive on.

An overhanging tree taken with my fisheye

Me and Aidan both climbed up this tree...it was actually pretty scary

No edits, the grass was really this vibrant!
